Ramadan
During the holy month of Ramadan, we want to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of giving generously to those in need.
Importance of Giving
“If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.”
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”
Please donate generously this Ramadan and help us to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are less fortunate in Gaza, Yemen & Pakistan. Together, we can make a real difference.
Quench Their Thirst: Donate to Our Water Aid Project
One of our most important initiatives is Water Aid, which provides water assistance to regions that lack access to clean water. We install hand pumps and water filtration plants in these areas, allowing residents to access clean, safe water. This is especially important during the hot summer months when dehydration can be a serious issue. Your donation will go a long way in helping us provide clean water to communities in need.
Fulfil Your Obligations by Donating Your Zakat
Zakat is a fundamental pillar of Islam, and Musafir makes it easy for you to fulfill this obligation. By donating your Zakat through Musafir, you can be sure that your contribution will be distributed to those who need it most. We have a rigorous vetting process to ensure that your Zakat is given to people who meet the criteria set out in Islamic law.
Share Your Blessings: Fitrana through Musafir
Fitrana is an act of charity involving the donation of food, which is obligatory to be given before Eid prayer and the conclusion of Ramadan, as a manifestation of love for Allah (SWT). By donating your Fitrana through Musafir, you can help us provide food and other basic necessities to those in need. Your donation will help us provide meals to those who would otherwise go hungry during this holy month.
Embrace Allah's Mercy Through Fidya and Kaffarah
Fidya and Kaffara are two important forms of charity in Islam that serve different purposes. Fidya is a form of compensation for missed or incomplete religious duties, while Kaffara is a form of atonement for sins and mistakes. Both forms of charity can be a way to show our commitment to living a life of faith and compassion and to make amends for any wrongs we may have committed.
If you are unable to fast during Ramadan due to illness, or other reasons, you can pay Fidya or Kaffarah as a way of making up for missed fasts. By donating through Musafir, you can be sure that your contribution will be used to help those in need. Your donation can help us provide food and other basic necessities to people who are struggling to make ends meet.
Bringing Joy: Iftar Food Drive for Elderly in Pakistan
As part of our Ramadan activities, Musafir Charity has organised an iftar food drive in an old age home in Pakistan. We believe that the elderly, especially during the month of Ramadan, deserve our utmost respect and care. Our aim is to provide warm and nutritious meals to the seniors residing there, who are often overlooked and forgotten by society. By providing them with healthy and wholesome iftar meals, we hope to bring joy and happiness into their lives. Our dedicated team of volunteers will ensure that the food is prepared with the highest quality ingredients, and that it is served with the utmost care and attention.
